We have some big news: WidgetKit for Elementor is now 100% free. Every element, every template, every LMS and WooCommerce widget — all of it, unlocked for everyone, with no Pro tier and nothing hidden behind a paywall.

If you’ve ever wanted to build a fast, professional Elementor site without paying for add-on after add-on, this is for you.

What’s changed

WidgetKit used to be a freemium plugin. A generous free version covered the basics, while the most powerful elements — the LearnDash, LearnPress, and Sensei widgets, the full WooCommerce toolkit, premium templates, and dedicated support — lived behind a Pro license that ranged from $39 to $299.

That split is gone. From today:

  • All 55+ elements are free — including every element that used to be Pro.
  • All LMS widgets are free — dedicated elements for LearnDash, LearnPress, and Sensei.
  • All WooCommerce widgets are free — build product pages, carousels, and storefronts.
  • All 20+ ready-made templates are free — including the LearnDash course layouts.
  • Updates and support stay free — no renewals, no expiry.

No license keys. No “upgrade to unlock.” Just install it and build.

Every element that used to be Pro — now free

Here’s the full list of premium widgets that previously required a Pro license and are now included for everyone, free.

Why we made WidgetKit free

We build for creators and educators, and our flagship Tutorque education theme has always been completely free. WidgetKit being part-paid never quite fit that mission — it put the most useful tools (the LMS and WooCommerce widgets especially) out of reach for exactly the people we want to help most: course creators and small store owners getting started.

Making WidgetKit free removes that friction entirely. The best version of the plugin is now the version everyone gets.

Why it matters for you

If you’re building an online course site, you can now design LearnDash, LearnPress, or Sensei course pages — banners, curriculums, progress bars, certificates, instructor blocks — without paying for a single add-on. Pair it with the free Tutorque theme and your whole stack is free. Not sure which LMS to use? Our free WordPress LMS quiz can help you decide.

If you run a WooCommerce store, the full set of product widgets — product grids, carousels, prices, cart buttons, ratings, and more — is yours to design custom storefronts with Elementor, at no cost.

If you’re a freelancer or agency, every WidgetKit element is now free to use on every client site. No per-site licenses to track, no budget conversations about plugin tiers.

A thank you to early supporters

If you purchased WidgetKit Pro in the past — thank you. You helped fund the plugin’s growth and made this moment possible. You keep everything you already have and will continue to receive updates; now the rest of the community gets the same tools you do.

How to get WidgetKit

WidgetKit is available right now:

Install WidgetKit, open Elementor, and start building. Everything is unlocked — have fun with it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is WidgetKit really 100% free now?

Yes. Every one of the 55+ elements — including the LearnDash, LearnPress, Sensei, and WooCommerce widgets and all 20+ ready-made templates — is free. There is no Pro tier, no license, and no subscription.

I bought WidgetKit Pro before. What happens to my license?

Thank you for supporting WidgetKit early. You keep full access to everything you already have, and you'll continue to receive updates — the same features are simply available to everyone now.

Do I still need Elementor Pro to use WidgetKit?

No. WidgetKit works with the free version of Elementor, and many of its widgets do things Elementor Pro alone cannot.

Where do I download WidgetKit?

You can download WidgetKit for free from the WordPress.org plugin directory, or explore everything it can do on the WidgetKit for Elementor page.
